The American Translators Association (ATA), the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT), the American Association of Interpreters and Translators in Education (AAITE), the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI), and the National Council of Interpreting in Healthcare (NCIHC) have responded to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention of interpreter Meenu Batra with a letter of support.
